Though our doors may officially be closed, that does not mean the end of what TANW stood for, nor the opportunities it sought to create. Nor, for that matter, the champions it crowned.
At National E-Wrestling Day 6, TANW ushered in its first under the AES banner with a Male Master Class Championship match, a brutal affair that saw the then-former champion Grigori Ginoveaf brutally take what once was his back from his nemesis, Jiro Kurotsu, who had been forced already to fight twice within the days preceding their match. But TANW had more that one Master Class Champion.
And indeed, so we arrive now at National E-Wrestling Day 7, where Carmen Castellano, still undefeated in singles matches, will defend her prize once more. While her opponent was never a part of the TANW roster in its time, we nonetheless have presented her with the opportunity, because that, above all else, is what TANW stood for, and what it continues to stand for, even in its wake.
