The eternal path to Eternity is finally over. The dust has settled, new champions were crowned, current titles were defended, feuds settled, and Ross is still making god awful puns, it's the Eighth Episode of Total Distortion Wrestling!
The Kerfuffle talent got its own showcase at Eternity in the very first defense of their coveted Super Smash Championship. Hugh Karcer defeated El Mericano in a stunning bout that excited the TDW crowd. Now, we will have a special second showcase just for you, a four way battle royal between four of Kerfuffle's rising stars. It will feature the #selfproclaimed #innovator of #twitter @ZappKanon, the high flying and agile Killa Komainu, the stealthy thief Jackson Douglas, and the woman from a world not like ours, Crypto! These four have a chance to prove themselves ready for a full time main roster spot. Who will take advantage of this and prevail?
Speaking of battle royals, Eternity also had its own battle royal, it's Fish on a Plaque rumble, a ridiculous match, conquered by the debuting Bodacious Bo. It was an unbolievable showing by Bo, and he won his bown Fish on a Plaque. However, the Plaque and Bo would not be bogether long, as the Fish on a Plaque was eaten whole by Fatty McYardtard. Bodacious Bo now has the chance to take the borld by storm in a match with one of Fatty's friends and dance partners, Rey Columpio. Will Bodacious Bo start a streak and go 2-BO or will the King of Swing go swinging ALL. NIGHT. LONG?
Goruden Callahan earned a big win with his sister at Eternity, defeating the House that Hell Built in an exciting tag match. After securing such a huge victory in the young career of both Callahans, he will face the lewd and crude Noxi. Noxi, on the flipside, was also at Eternity, participating in the Fish on a Plaque rumble but could not secure the Plaque for herself. Will Noxi be fueled by this missed catch and pick herself back up, or will Goruden continue his post-Eternity momentum and defeat Noxi?
The Posse Protection Agency are certainly a strange pairing. One could say that based on first impressions of the team, that this is just a duo with no chemistry and conflicting personalities. However, at Eternity they proved they had chemistry, by taking the Hatventurers on a heart stopping matchup with endless amounts of close pinfalls. However, they could not secure the win and they had a big arguement post match about how they lost and about Jackie Chan. They have decided to give it another go as the face the team of Ricky D'Amore and Kittie Katz. Though they have not teamed as much as the PPA, one could say that unlike the PPA, their personalities click and that they will have chemistry. Will they prove that statement to be true, or will the Posse Protection Agency bounce back for a victory and for a potential victory Rush Hour marathon?
Derrick Brizen came up short in his tag team with his sister with the Callahans, and boy was he mad about that. He stormed into the TDW Offices during the short break and demanded a match. Fearing for our safety, we gave him one, but it won't be an easy walk, as he has to face the biggest wrestler on the roster. The 7 ft tall young man known as Blues. In this battle of new vs old, the violent vet of TDW will take on Blues inside the TDW Arena. Will Blues suppress the anger or will he be powerless against the drug fuelled Derrick Brizen?
Six String Champion La Red continued her very impressive TDW Career by defeating Erika Reinhardt and successfully defended her title at Eternity. La Red continues to be undefeated though all of this and has no signs of stopping. She also plans to have a celebration for all the TDW Fans and the Orphans, however, later that night, she will face a mighty opponent at Episode 8, the woman who had been in countless battles with Darby Brizen since the very start of TDW, Devon Callahan. Devon Callahan, with her brother, defeated Darby and Derrick in the hyped up tag match at Eternity and will look to keep it going by giving La Red her first loss. Will Devon succeed, or will La Red continue to win forever?
Lastly, in the main event, we have two very tough challengers who were both impressive at Eternity but could not win it in the end. Erika Reinhardt, who took La Red to her very limit, and even had her out for a 19 count at one point, will want to prove that it was a mere fluke and prove to her detractors, like Devon Callahan, that she is the real deal. However, she isn't the only one with detractors in this match. Her opponent, Clark Walker, was the official fill in for the Guitar Warrior Championship match, much to TDW GM Bill Atlas' displeasure. Clark and Guitar Warrior Marty Jannetty went 110% in the ring, and ultimately, Marty prevailed after his fourth superkick to Clark Walker. With everything to prove, Clark and Erika will face off one on one in the main event of Episode 8. Who will win, Erika, or Clark? Find out, at TDW: Episode 8!
