The TDW Train has pulled into its next station; Eternity. After months of building up to this show, the company's second PPV is almost upon us and it is quite possible the biggest night so far. Titles will be defended, one will certainly be won, scores will be settled and Tyrone will probably dance backstage.
At Episode 7, Bill Atlas revealed that Eternity would be host to an eight person Battle Royal. A Battle Royal where the ultimate prize on offer is the coveted Fish of a Plaque. Bill has said that this wonderful plaque will earn its heir something in the future but for now, it's a motherfuzzin' fish. And it's on a plaque. How cool is that?! Regardless, while we do indeed have eight competitors for it, we're only telling you the first four entrants because we're sneaky. And those four confirmed entrants are Oseiko, Richard Fountain, Ricky D'Amore and Crypto! Can either of these four outlast each other and the other four unknown contestants? Who are the other entrants and who will take home the amazing Fish on a Plaque?
For over five months, Canadian Dragon and El Trippy V have been at each other's throats. This all culminated in a hilariously one sided match at Panic Attack and after beating the hell out of his nemesis, CanDrag looked to be done with ETV. However, ETV, filled with righteous fury over the damage of his favourite suit, pursued CanDrag, with the intentions of finally getting one over on him. This lead to ETV managing Viktor Vlasnic, who proceeded to defeat Canadian Dragon. But Canadian Dragon is not one who backs down from a challenge. And after three seconds that guarantee that ETV will require some heavy therapy, we have this rather strange match up. For once, ETV will not be able to hide from CanDrag's wrath. Can Canadian Dragon overcome the Serbian brute, Viktor, and get his hands on El Trippy V and put down his tormentor once and for all? Or will Viktor and ETV use their numbers to their advantage?
Speaking of personal, things sure have escalated between the Brizens and Callahans. What started out as a bitter rivalry has evolved into a full-on family war. Darby Brizen's already frail sanity went completely off the deep end after Devon Callahan defeated her at Panic Attack. Her resulting anger has ended up dragging both Derrick Brizen and Goruden Callahan into the conflict. And now, Devon and Goruden must fight Derrick and Darby to protect their family name and prove that together, they are a force to be reckoned with. Which family will come out on top?
Things have been going pretty swimmingly for Hugh Karcer. The former bounty hunter turned wrestler has so far been tearing through Total Distortion Wrestling since his debut and his skills have flourished on Kerfuffle!, where he overcame multiple others to become the very first TDW Super Smash Champion. And after his impressive victory, Hugh dispatched Richard Fountain in a hard hitting match to continue his winning streak. And now, as announced by Kerfuffle!'s GM, John Wilkinson, he will put his title on the line right here at Eternity against El Mericano. So far, the warrior fuelled by the power of America has been within inches of the coveted title, only being bested by the champion himself at Episode 1 of Kerfuffle! However, El Mericano managed to defeat Elias Santo to get himself a second chance. Will El Mericano overcome Hugh on his first title defence or will Hugh prove too strong for him once again?
Since Panic Attack, we've seen a rise in the tag team division with the birth of a Tag Team Championship - the TDW Blast Beats Championship. J.C. Stone and Eli McSweeney, of The Posse Protection Agency overcame Team LEWD to earn their place in this match at Episode 5. Meanwhile, Richie Stevens and Harold Remington-Harrington, who form The Hatventurers, defeated Ricky D'Amore and Kittie Katz to face The PPA. And while Richie overcame Eli, JC proved he still has Harold's number by winning at Episode 7. Despite the odds being against them, can The Posse Protection Agency become TDW's first tag team champions or will The Hatventurers add big shiny belts to go with their hats?
TDW Six String Champion, La Red Dinamica, has been a heavily inspirational story so far in TDW. Since her first appearance, La Red has remained undefeated in six matches, one of them when she despatched Sterling Pierce, Kodokuna Yama and Cornelius K. Racy to win her first ever championship. However, at Episode 4, Erika Reinhardt returned in a Number 1 Contender's Match with only one goal in mind; make the entire locker room her bitch, starting with La Red and her title. And after the vicious exchange of words, La Red is facing perhaps the biggest threat to her unbeaten run yet. Can the champion hold on and extend her streak or will Erika dismantle everything La Red holds dear?
Rumours have been abound about Cole Scorpio's future after Eternity but one thing is for certain; he's going to do his best to finally earn his first World Title. Meanwhile, GUITAR WARRIOR "Bitter" Marty Jannetty, isn't prepared to let Cole anywhere near his championship. The two had an incredible bout at Panic Attack and the stage is set for an encore. Can Marty defeat Cole again and retain THE STRAP or will Cole walk out of the arena with his first ever world championship? Find out this and so much more at Total Distortion Wrestling: Eternity!
